March 8th. International Women's Day

It's been a long way, not easy and not simple and it's still taking place. There a lot of things that must change all around the world. It's about our rights and yet about others too. It's not about feminism and is not against men or, at least, shouldn't be. Would prefer a Humanity's Day, cause each time we make a special day, in a way we are still making them different. Don't take me wrong... "Vive la difference!!", but if we must be remembered by a day about rights and achievements, don't know...

Okay, enough rambling around. For my dear Women Friends, have a great Saturday!!! (After all... it's our day!

Thanks Sweetie! I agree with everything you said. I myself have had to deal with some issues of inequality in the workplace, so I know there are definitely still things to be accomplished. I am not a "feminist," but am always thrilled when a woman can prove her ability and worth to the world with grace and confidence. It does so much more good than any amount of bluster and demonstration!

That's right the point! Thankfully at my workplace we have a lot of equality. More, we "ladies" think that the boys should start a movement on their own cause we are a lot of women and, a lot in power position.

Although, thank goodness, our generation in quite different than the previous one. The last was more men alike behaviour while ours is feminine and more approachable. But, there are a lot of things to accomplish and not only at work. Mistreat in the homeplace is awful, when you read the statistics about it you just feel that we are still way too far away.
